Rangers Claim No. 3 Seed in Midwest Regional in Ninth Straight NCAA Tournament Appearance

DENVER, Colo. – The NCAA has officially released the 2026 Women's Lacrosse National Championship Bracket, and Regis University has earned the No. 3 seed in the Midwest Regional.

This is the Ranger's ninth consecutive trip, and ninth overall, to the NCAA Tournament.

Regis will play No. 6 Rockhurst University (Mo.) (12-4, 5-2 GLVC) in the first round, hosted by No. 2 Maryville University (Mo.) in St. Louis, Mo., on Thursday, May 7 at 2 pm. The winner will play host Maryville on Saturday, May 9.

The Rangers hosted the Hawks on March 11, prevailing, 11-7. Lexie Springman, Aubrey Benton, and Maggie Schipfer all scored three goals, while Springman added two assists. Abby Mays recorded three caused turnovers, two ground balls, and a draw control. Brigit Goetsch posted seven saves.

Last season, RU won their First Round game, 17-12 over Ashland University before falling to the University of Indianapolis in the Second Round, 10-15. Regis has made three appearances in the NCAA Final Four (2018, 19, 24).
