COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released the 2026 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll this afternoon with the Regis Rangers being picked to finish fifth in this year's standings while also having two players named to the Preseason All-RMAC team.

In each year's preseason poll each of the conference's 13 program's coaches come together to vote on projections without getting to vote for their own school. In addition, the RMAC's preseason team is determined by placing returning players in order of head coaches' voting from the league's 2025 All-RMAC Teams.

The Rangers garnered 98 points in this year's poll for their fifth-place spot with them being picked two spots higher than last year. They earn this honor after they finished the 2025 season with a 10-5-4 record and entered the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament as the No. 5 seed.

The Rangers also received votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll multiple times last year while being ranked as high as No. 25 in the nation.

Colorado School of Mines led this year's poll with a total of 134 points as they were picked to win the conference while coming off two straight conference tournament championships. Colorado Mesa came in second in the voting with 132 points with UCCS having 131 points for third and Fort Lewis accumulating 109 points for fourth to round out the top five teams.

Beyond the Rangers' fifth place selection they also had the duo of Fernanda Rodriguez and Elsa Nolen be named to the Preseason All-RMAC team with each of the players being Second Team All-RMAC picks a season ago.

Rodriguez scored eight goals with seven assists in 2025 as she was the Rangers' points leader while Nolen added six goals and four assists as the two return as the team's top offensive threats.
