DENVER, Colo. – The United Soccer Coaches have released their first National Top 25 Poll, and the Rangers come in Ranked #20.

After receiving votes in multiple different polls last season, the Rangers break the Top-25 for the first time since 2021, and their highest placement since reaching #18 in 2017.

RU used a season-opening 1-0 road win over #3 Fort Hays State (Kan.) on Saturday to catapult into the national rankings. Jacobo Betancourt-Tovar scored the match's lone goal, while RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week Zach Jennings posted three saves in the shutout win.

The Rangers are also ranked #3 in the South Central Region, behind #1 Midwestern State (Texas) (#1 nationally) and #2 University of Colorado Colorado Springs (#12 nationally).

Regis will get to continue to prove themselves on the national stage, with an upcoming road trip to California. Regis will battle #25 California State University, Los Angeles on Thursday, and #18 California State University, San Bernardino on Sunday.
