WOMEN'S SOCCER

The Rangers rolled their winning streak all the way up to five this past weekend as they began conference play with a pair of dominant wins over Adams State University and New Mexico Highlands.

The Rangers shutout Adams State 2-0 on Friday night for the conference opener before blowing out N.M. Highlands 8-1 on Sunday.

Their eight-goal performance against N.M. Highlands tied for the eighth most goals scored in a game in program history and is the most scored in a game since 2023 when they scored nine against the Cowgirls as well.

Weekend Notes:

    ·         Fernanda Rodriguez and Paula Igual both scored three goals over the two games with Igual's three all coming against N.M. Highlands for her first career hat trick at Regis

CSU Pueblo is 2-3-2 (0-0-1 RMAC) and Mines is 5-1-1 (1-0 RMAC).

MEN'S SOCCER

Regis has now faced six teams ranked in the nation's top 25 poll with their loss to UCCS being just the first time they've fallen to a top five team.

The Rangers are currently ranked No. 17 in the nation themselves and will wait to see where they stand when the new rankings drop tomorrow.
