ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Regis University women's golf team concluded round one of the Skyhawk Women's Fall Intercollegiate in tenth-place with a team-score of 320.
West Texas A&M is currently in first with a score of 291. The only RMAC school ahead of Regis is Colorado State-Pueblo and Dixie State University. Both teams finished the first-round in 306 total strokes and are tied for sixth place.
Sophomore
Kate Keuss and junior
Maddie Kern were the only Rangers to record multiple birdies, each with two. Keuss is tied for 27
th individually with a score of 77 (+4) while Kern is tied for 56
th, carding an 82 (+10).
Freshman
Natalie Pietromonaco birdied her first hole of the day and finished seven over par for a score of 79. She is tied for 43
rdindividually. Following Pietromonaco, with a tied for 56
thplace finish, is freshman
Emma Winfree with a score of 82 (+10). Winfree also has one birdie to her name.
Wrapping it up for RU is freshman
Trinity Corwin who stands tied for 65
th. Corwin birdied hole 18 and finished with a first-round score of 85 (+13).
