Regis women's lacrosse lands 10 student-athletes on IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — The 2022 Regis University women's lacrosse team continues to pile up the accolades as the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) announced the NCAA Division II Academic Honor Roll teams on Wednesday.

As a team, the Rangers boasted a 3.577 grade point average for the 2021-22 season, earning them the RMAC Brechler Award earlier this month for the best women's lacrosse team GPA in the conference. To qualify for the IWLCA Honor Squad award, teams needed to post a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year.

In addition to the team recognition, the Rangers had 10 individual student-athletes earn IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll in graduate student Hannah Krats; seniors Sydney Landdeck, Maddie Northcut and Lucy Johnson; juniors Tara Davis, Bailey Truex, Meg Hanson, Sarah Hanson and Gabby Rothermund; as well as sophomore Lily Ferguson.

The IWLCA recognized a total of 517 student-athletes from 68 institutions on the 2022 IWLCA Divisision II Academic Honor Roll.
