Tara Davis invited to play in IWLCA Senior All-Star Games

| By:
DENVER, Colo. — Regis University senior defender Tara Davis has been selected to represent the Rangers at the 2023 Senior All-Star Games, selected by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

Over 120 student-athletes across the NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III levels have been selected to play in the Senior All-Star Games, scheduled for Saturday, June 3 out at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.

Davis will represent the Division II North Team, coached by Tricia Molfetta of Pace University; the 2023 NCAA Division II National Champions. Davis earns the nod after she helped anchor a Regis defense that has caused 226 turnovers while leading the RMAC in ground balls (396), fewest goals against (7.14), and limited opponents to just 18.7 shots per game.

The Beaverton, Oregon native started all 19 games for the No. 10 ranked Rangers (17-2 overall), who won the program's fourth straight RMAC regular season and RMAC Tournament titles in 2023 while climbing as high as No. 2 in the Division II National poll.

Davis, who was named First Team All-RMAC and Second Team All-Midwest Region in 2023, personally set individual career highs this spring with 26 caused turnovers and 27 ground balls.

The Division II All-Star game is schedule for 10 a.m. (Eastern Time) that Saturday, June 4 at Tierney Field in Sparks, Maryland. Admission to all three games is free of charge. To view the full IWLCA release and All-Star rosters, click here.
