No. 3 seed Regis squares off against No. 2 seed Grand Valley in Thursday's Midwest Region semi-final

DENVER, Colo. – The bracket and game times have officially been set for the 2024 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament this week, with the No. 5 ranked Regis University women's lacrosse team earning the No. 3 seed entering play on Thursday.

Regis (18-1 overall) will get a rematch with No. 2 seed Grand Valley State University (17-1 overall) at 2 p.m. (Mountain Time) on Thursday out in St. Louis, Missouri. No. 1 seed Maryville University (17-1 overall), the GLVC regular season champions, will serve as the regional tournament hosts.

The Rangers, coming off their fifth straight sweep of the RMAC regular season and tournament titles, have had a spirited rivalry with the Lakers since the two programs first met in 2012, with Regis holding a 4-3 advantage in the all-time series. Regis defeated Grand Valley, 14-10, during the 2023 regular season, while the Lakers defeated the Rangers in the Midwest Regional Tournament semi-finals last May.

If the Rangers win on Thursday, they'd advance to Saturday's regional championship game to face the winner of No. 1 seed Maryville and No. 4 seed University of Indianapolis. First draw for Saturday's championship game is scheduled for 11 a.m. (Mountain Time).

Live stats and live streams for the tournament will be free. Click here for the direct link to the Rangers' Thursday game against Grand Valley State.

There are no advanced ticket sales but credit cards and cash will be accepted at the entrance to the Maryville Athletic Complex. Per NCAA regulations, there are no complimentary admissions, and everyone entering the Maryville Athletic Complex must purchase a ticket.

The other regional host schools are West Chester (Atlantic), Pace (East) and Florida Southern (South). The winner of each regional will advance to the national semifinals in Winter Park, Fla., Thursday, May 23. The NCAA Division II National Championship game is slated for Saturday, May 25.
