Rangers Unanimously Chosen to Repeat as Conference Champs for Sixth Year in a Row

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released it's 2025 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll, and Regis is favored to win the league title for the sixth consecutive year.

Regis was unanimously chosen to finish atop the league, earning 25 points and five first place votes.

5 points were awarded for a first-place vote, with one point less for each succeeding place. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.

Colorado Mesa was chosen to finish second with 21 points, including the final first place vote. UCCS came in third at 16 points, just ahead of Westminster at 14 points. CSU Pueblo was picked fifth with eight points, and Fort Lewis sixth with six points.

The Rangers, under the direction of Head Coach Sarah Kellner in her 19th year, look to capture their sixth straight regular season and RAMC Tournament crowns. Additionally, the Rangers strive to make their eighth consecutive NCAA tournament after making their third final four in 2024.

On the field, the Rangers are led by Megan Bunker, Madeline Schallmoser, Maggie Schipfer, and Terah Skillings who all earned First Team All-RMAC honors in 2024. Attacker Shea Murphy looks to take another leap this year, after earning a Second Team All-RMAC roster spot last season.
