HOW IT HAPPENED
The Setters would jump out to an early lead, scoring two goals within the first two minutes, before Justine Spahr got the Rangers on the board with a woman-up goal, assisted by Maggie Schipfer. Pace quickly responded with another goal of their own, before Lauren sheets scored an unassisted goal to bring the score to 2-3 under four minutes into the action. PU would score two more goals before the end of the period, while Brigit Goetsch saved two others, leaving the score at 2-5 after the first.
The Rangers would begin to chip away at the lead in the second quarter, after Sheets set up a Becky Goetsch goal and Shae Murphy scored on a free position shot.
