COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has announced the sixth edition of its 2025 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, and Regis University's Madeline Schallmoser has been voted the league's Defensive Player of the Week.

This is Schallmoser's first weekly honor of 2025, and she is joined by the Offensive Player of the Week, Sarah Urbanic, of the University of Colorado Colroado Springs.

The Senior midfielder led the Ranger's defense to a 2-0 week that only allowed six goals. In an 18-3 victory over Colorado State University-Pueblo, Schallmoser caused five turnovers and collected seven ground balls. She also scored one goal in the match. In Sunday's 17-3 win over Fort Lewis College, the Downer's Grove, Ill. native picked up two more ground balls, controlled one draw, and contributed two points from a goal and an assist.

Schallmoser and the Rangers return to action on Thursday, March 27, hosting the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
