COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released its 2025 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams, and 10 Rangers have been honored by the league, headlined by the RMAC Defensive Player of the Year, Madeline Schallmoser.
Schallmoser is the third Ranger to win Defensive Player of the Year, joining Sarah Kate Dohm (2022) and Sierra Perrella (2014). She caused 25 turnovers on the year (6th RMAC), picked up a team-leading 47 ground balls (2nd RMAC), controlled 11 draws, scored 10 goals, and assisted on two. She was also a first-team selection in 2024, and an honorable mention in 2023.
Shea Murphy, who was second-team last year, and honorable mention in 2023, led the team with 53 points (3rd RMAC), scoring 47 goals (2nd RMAC) and assisting on six. She also controlled 53 draws, collected 25 ground balls, and caused 15 turnovers.
Megan Bunker was named to the RMAC First-Team for the second straight year after leading the team and conference in draw controls with 90. Additionally, she posted 27 points from 18 goals and nine assists, as well as 44 ground balls (4th RMAC), and 29 turnovers forced.
Terah Skillings was the final First-Team selection for the Rangers and was also a repeat selection from last year. She caused 22 turnovers, picked up 25 ground balls, and scored her first career goal this season.
Brigit Goetsch was named the second-team All-RMAC goalkeeper. She earned an 11-4 record, saving 125 attempts (2nd RMAC) on a .510 save percentage (1st RMAC). She faced a total of 347 shots, allowing 120. She also picked up 33 ground balls, and caused two turnovers. Goetsch has two honorable mention nods in her career as well
Justine Spahr earned a second-team nod posting season totals of 26 goals, five assists, 14 draw controls, 19 ground balls, and nine caused turnovers.
Alyse Valdez was selected to the all-conference second-team in her first year of collegiate play. She controlled 37 draws, picked up 23 ground balls, scored nine goals, assisted two more goals, and caused four turnovers.
Abby Mays was the final second-team selection, recording season totals of 26 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, two assists, and one draw control.
Becky Goetsch was an All-RMAC Honorable Mention as she led the Rangers with 27 assists. She also scored 19 goals, collected nine ground balls, and caused three turnovers. She set the Regis record for assists in a match with six, and tied the record for points in a game with 11.
Lexie Springman was the final Ranger to be honored. She assisted 10 goals, while scoring 23 of her own. She also picked up seven ground balls, controlled five draws, and forced three turnovers.
The Rangers now prepare for an RMAC Tournament Semifinal match against UCCS on Friday, April 24 at 7 pm.
