DENVER, Colo. – The United Soccer Coaches have released the second edition of their 2026 Men's Soccer Top 25 Coaches Poll, and the Rangers are receiving votes in the poll.

The Rangers were #20 in last week's poll.

RU went on the road last weekend for a pair of matches against ranked teams in California.

Starting on Thursday, the Rangers fell to #25 Cal State, Los Angeles, 0-1. The Rangers outshot the Golden Eagles, 21-5, with Sahar Golov and Francisco Ruiz each putting two shots on goal. Zach Jennings saved three shots. CSLA moved up to #8 in this week's poll.

On Sunday, the Rangers recorded a 0-0 draw at #18 Cal State, San Bernardino, who did not move in the newest poll. Jacobo Betancourt-Tovar posted the lone SOG for RU, while Jennings posted nine saves in the complete game shutout.

The Rangers return to Denver this week for their first home matches of the season, continuing their tough non-conference slate by battling #2 Seattle Pacific University (Wash.) and #14 Western Washington University. Every match for the Rangers so far in 2026 has been against a Top-25 ranked team.
