Made a season-high 10 starts for all of his appearances during the condensed 2021 season, posting a 5.26 earned-run average en route to a 5-5 record … Struck out a team-high 58 batters and allowed 40 runs (29 earned), 52 hits, and 22 walks in 49.2 innings … Fanned nine batters while giving up two runs and five hits through 6.0 innings in the Rangers’ 15-10, season-opening win over Washburn on Feb. 19 … Threw 6.0 innings in which he struck out nine while surrendering one run and three hits in Regis’s 13-1 victory to open a doubleheader and the series against Colorado Christian on March 10 … Matched a career high by striking out 11 while allowing five runs (one earned), six hits, and a walk in RU’s pod game at host No. 2 Colorado Mesa on March 26 … Pitched 7.0 innings in which he fanned seven and gave up five runs (four earned), eight hits, and four walks in the 6-5, series-opening win against New Mexico Highlands on May 13 … Accumulated an .818 fielding percentage, including two putouts and seven assists.
