DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Baseball team opens their 2025 season on Friday, hosting Northwestern Missouri State University. The Rangers, who went 33-24-1 in 2024, have collected a variety of preseason accolades.
In the D2Baseball Preseason Top 25 Poll, the Rangers were Receiving Votes. The Rangers were receiving votes in one Top 25 Poll in 2024 as well. RU enters the season ranked #5 in the South Central Region rankings, earning 39 points in the poll.
Adam Paniagua headlines the top returners for Regis Baseball. The Senior Catcher has been selected as a preseason All-American by D2Baseball and the NCBWA. He is joined by Senior Infielder Clayton Conn, who was voted a Preseason Third-Team All-American by the NCBWA.
Both Paniagua and Conn were Preseason All-South Central Region Team selections. Senior Outfielder Maxim Fullerton was an Honorable Mention.
First pitch of the 2025 Season is set for 1 pm on Friday, Jan 31.
