IWLCA Ranks Regis #17

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its weekly Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, and the Rangers stay at #17.

Regis ranked #17 in last week's poll, and #15 before that.

RU went 3-0 last week, starting with a 16-5 win against William Jewell (Mo.) in Salt Lake City. Maggie Schipfer and Lexie Springman led the offense with six points apiece, while Elle Enselman controlled four draws and forced a turnover.

The Rangers then picked up their first RMAC win, defeating Colorado State University Pueblo, 18-14 at home. Schipfer scored four first-quarter goals, while Springman scored four unanswered in the fourth quarter to pull away for the four-goal win. Krista Munsinger forced four turnovers, controlled four draws, and picked up four ground balls.

On Sunday, Regis cruised to an 18-1 win over Fort Lewis College. Five Rangers scored multiple goals, including five from Evie Tanella. Munsinger controlled six more draws, while Sophia picked up three ground balls and forced two turnovers.

RU's lone game this week is at UCCS on Thursday, March 26 at 4 pm.
