COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released the fifth edition of its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, and Regis University's Krista Munsinger has been named the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
It is Munsinger's first career Player of the Week award, and she is joined by Offensive Player of the Week, Ella Mills of UCCS.
Munsinger led the Rangers to a 3-0 week, first holding William Jewell (Mo.) to just five goals in a neutral site game. Munsinger recorded three draw controls, one caused turnover, and one ground ball, while WJC attempted just 10 shots. Returning home, the freshman midfielder helped RU to their first RMAC win of the year over CSU-Pueblo, forcing four turnovers, picking up four ground balls, and controlling four draws. To close out the weekend, the North Oaks, Minn. native and RU's back line allowed just one goal and six SOG to Fort Lewis College. Munsinger recorded six draw controls, one caused turnover, and one ground ball.
